Price Changes

About a week ago, I wrote about ordering coupons. I received my coupons over the weekend. Included in my order were $1 Tabasco sauce coupons. This morning I was excited to go couponing at Walmart and score nine bottles of Tabasco sauce for FREE with my coupons. I got to Walmart only to discover that the rollback price of $1 is no longer active. Each bottle is the regular price of $1.34. My heart sunk as I knew my plan would not work!

I did not purchase any Tabasco sauce on my shopping trip today. I decided to check the prices at two other stores before making a buying decision. The coupons do not expire until the 15th of February so I have time to hopefully find a better price. I also know that if I do not find a cheaper price that $0.34 per bottles is still a great stock up price!

In the game of couponing and saving, the prices change. The key to saving is stocking up when the items are on sale and can be matched with your coupons. I order coupons regularly and typically get them in time to take advantage of the sale price. One must be able to have a back up plan and roll with the changes!
